Commissions

I am often asked to create paintings that commemorate special occasions such as weddings, births, anniversaries and other causes for celebration. I also do portraits of people and animals. I enjoy the process of collaboration that goes into these pieces.

If you commission a painting from me, I ask you to tell me stories. Rather than strive for a recognizable likeness of you, I work from those stories. The painting is an illustration of your life. I work with photographs that you lend me. Sometimes I get lucky and actually capture your likeness as well!
